Yeah I did
It was nice seeing an amercian gameshow where people get hurt.
Basiccally 24 people go through a painful qualifire course, the 12 fastest move on to an endurance competition, 6 more move on to another qualifire round, the four fastest move on to the final course. whoever finishes the course the fastest wins 50,000 dollars.
The commentators are pretty uniteresting. There trying to do MXC like commentary but it just comes out like really bad unitersting commentary

I saw some new clips of the widget thing which I've put on the site...it was very good.Fingers crossed Challenge will get the rights to show it in Britain
I thought the commentry was a bit lame...Vic Romano and Kenny Blankenship would of done a better job

I have seen some clips of it on youtube. And I'm not a big fan of MXC but I have to agree Vic and Kenny were 10X better imo.

The Intro page says that Teleciono do a Spanish version of Wipe Out. Do you think other countries will follow and do their remakes?
I think countries like the UK or France or Italy could do their own versions, because similar shows like Takeshi's Castle were quite successful.

I doubt we'll get one in our country....although I'd love to see it happen. The only reason why I think we won't have a UK version is because we have different health and safety rules to other countries

In America We have insane legal problems on gameshows. Unless you make the contract air tight. If someone gets hurt or even cut on your gameshow they will sue your ass off.

I'm quite surprised really...I thought American gameshows were a bit more extreme than the ones we have in the UK
Well I can now pray and hope we have a UK version in the future...If not that then the American version to be shown on Challenge

This year has been quite good for news on TC type gameshows coming to the UK. It could be as popular (or more popular) than TC as it's on terrestrial TV.

I wouldn't want it to be more popular than Takeshi's Castle...although Wipeout will get alot more viewing figures as it's the BBC

No,the American Wipeout is filmed in Santa Clarita in California
The obstacle course in Argentina is for the international versions

If it was up to me TC would be shown on ITV1or BBC1 or 2, so it would be more popular than it is now.
