Does anybody know the rules of the game? How many questions, are you allowed to jump on a wrong card etc.
In the 5 guards - 5 contestants version, there are 5 questions each time and if you doesn't give a correct answer during a 5 question-turn, you are out.
But what's about the 10 contestants version? Sometimes there are just 2 hands, but all the other 8 contestants couldn't give a correct answer, could they.

It varies from episode to episode.

A good question. From watching that episode, I've worked out that if each round consited of nine questions, it would take roughly two hours to get through all contestants. (remember, they have to reset the cards and contestants after each game.) This would vary depending on how many get through to Show of Hands. I think two hours is a little unrealsitic filming-wise.
I would speculate that when two contestant participate, it's because of a grudge/friendship/special physical need or somemthing.

I expect you're right...and also they have to get over 110 contestants through each game in 1 episode -although we don't see every single contestant playing...something like 10 or 15 in each game.
