Yes,he's spoken english in a number of occasions: In the Stolen Wellies/Snow special,he said "nice catch!" to a contestant in Catch It. He was talking to Clive James during a parent and kids special. In the international specials we hear him say things like "do your best" and "let's go". He spoke english to a contestant from Germany(Tani didn't actually know he was German). I hope this helped you

In an international special i heard him say 'Get on' (get on the carts)when they were in the showdown.Who is Clive James?? And in the hikari sentai maskman episodes I heard him say words like 'okay' and 'meditation'! So he does know English! But can he speak fluently? Jonnie that helped me alot! Thanks!

That's alright Clive James is an Australian celebrity,he made an appearance on TC during his journey in Japan

Today i saw no actually heard him say 'yellow' when the yellow ball came out in Sumo Rings!

Another occasion I forgot was when a contestant picks out a green ball in Sumo Rings and Tani says "oh no,Animal!"

I would bet the General does know English. You see people from all over the world speaking good english on the News and TV programmes. It's a necessary skill in today's world.

Too True. We English are definetly the worst linguists. If General Lee is associated with a gym or fitness company he would need good language skills.
